New Design - Dotty Frame

If I had a daughter, everything she owned would be some shade of pink.  I say that because I do not have a daughter, and in fact have three very boyish, blue-loving boys.  I do, however, have friends that have all girls and well, by girl three or four, sometimes you just want some girly blue.   

(I designed this with you guys in mind.)

It reads to me "girly, trendy, but with an old-fashioned feel."  And kind of Eastery, wouldn't you say?

New Design - Spring Plaid

After many, many frigid (and then warm, and then frigid, and then back to warm, but mostly just frigid) months of waiting, I believe spring is finally here!  The daffodils have bloomed, the trees are turning green, and most importantly, I am again wearing flip flops. 

So to celebrate this fine season, I came up with a girly design remniscant of Easter and soft pastel palettes and all things spring.  Folks, I give you Spring Plaid:

New Design - Black Plaid

One of my favorite sources of inspirations is home catalogs. I get ideas for color combos, patterns, layouts, and sometimes even a random object will stick out to me and conjure up an entire unrelated design (it's quite perplexing how my mind works sometimes but I do not question the mojo). For my most recent design, I knew I wanted to gear toward the teens (boys, in particular.  Not enough boy correspondence options if I do say so myself.)  So I flipped through a PB Teen and was inspired by this:

and came up with this:

Fairly "rad" (do people still say that?) stationery, in my opinion.  I took the black and blue plaid that's so trendy in the boarding decor (honestly -- I've seen it in skateboarding, snowboarding, and surf boarding) and paired it with a grungy, typed font for a set that will have teen boys just busting at the seams to write Thank You notes. 

Anyhoo!  I'm really quite excited with this design and can't wait to force my own kids have my own sweet boys pen their notes of thanks on a set of these.
